Best Price Guarantee: terms

1. If you get a lower written quote for a like-for-like installation from another MCS-certified installer, the installer you choose through us will beat its total price.
2. Like-for-like means: the same property; the same system size (kWp); panels, inverter and battery of the same brand, or of equal specification and warranty; the same usable battery capacity; the same scope (scaffolding, mounting, electrical work, grid paperwork, MCS certificate) and warranties of the same length; and the total price including VAT.
3. The other quote must be in writing, from an MCS-certified installer that is currently trading, and dated within the last 30 days.
4. Not covered: quotes from installers that aren’t MCS-certified; used, refurbished or supply-only equipment; DIY installs; prices that depend on finance, grants or funded schemes; verbal offers.
5. How to claim: before you sign with your installer, email the other quote to hello@savemoneyexperts.co.uk with your name and postcode. We’ll check it’s like-for-like and reply within 2 working days.
6. If it qualifies, your installer will send you a revised quote below the other quote’s total price. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you why.
7. The guarantee is given by the installer who prices your job. SaveMoneyExperts passes on your claim and makes sure it’s honoured.
8. Claims must be made before you sign a contract with your installer.
9. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights. We may update these terms for future quotes; changes won’t affect a quote you already have.
